The “Expected Value of Lives Saved” is our best estimate of the theoretical number of lives that might be saved based on the number of people who are visiting this site.
Our Mission:
p(doom) is the probability that advanced AI makes humanity extinct; p(zoom) is the probability that safe SuperIntelligence is the first SuperIntelligence developed.
Reduce p(doom) and increase p(zoom)
​SuperIntelligence.com is dedicated to reducing the probability of human extinction, known as p(doom), by advanced SuperIntelligent AI.
​
We believe the best way to accomplish this is to design SuperIntelligence to be safe and aligned with human values. However, since the world is engaged in an AI arms race, we must also increase the probability that the safest SuperIntelligence is the first that is developed, something we call p(zoom).
Our designs for AI safety are unique in that they represent both the safest AND fastest path to SuperIntelligence.

Simply put, our goal is to reduce p(doom) and increase p(zoom).
