PRESS INFORMATION

President Donald Trump, in his speech to the United Nations on September 22, 2026, said, in part: “From this point forward, all of the United States’ documents and hopefully the world’s, will be changed to use the much more accurate term ‘super’ as opposed to ‘artificial,’ so it’s Super Intelligence. In other words, welcome to the new world of SuperIntelligence – SI.”

He also said “we have to be careful,” that the United States would “watch it closely,” and that it would continue to develop SuperIntelligence “safely and responsibly.”

Separately, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has described AI safety as an engineering problem. That is a view we share at SuperIntelligence.com.

People tend to think that slower is safer. But actually, slower is not safer; smarter is safer. We need smarter design and smarter engineering.

At SuperIntelligence.com, we are confident it is possible to reduce existential risks from whatever level they are at today down to less than .01%. We have been working on this problem since 2006 and have described solutions in white papers and videos to back up our claims. They are freely available to all on this site.

The faster we can achieve safer SI through smart design and engineering, the better for all of humanity.

ABOUT CRAIG A. KAPLAN

Craig Kaplan
"For all its superior processing speed and perception, SuperIntelligence will still run up against the hard fact that there is no way to rationally derive morality, no matter how intelligent it becomes. I suggest that this is a good thing for our species."

Craig A. Kaplan

Dr. Craig A. Kaplan is CEO of iQ Company and an inventor and expert in intelligent systems with more than four decades of experience in AI. He earned his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, where he studied with AI pioneers Herbert A. Simon and Allen Newell. He co-authored research with Simon, a Nobel laureate and Turing Award winner. Since 2020, Kaplan and iQ Company have focused on safe architectures for AGI and SuperIntelligence, including collective intelligence systems designed to improve human oversight, alignment, and safety. His research and related technologies are publicly available through SuperIntelligence.com.
